Love....or Prejudice?

Throughout the entirety of my life i've always - as i'm sure many people out there are the same - been searching for the meaning of life and of love. What is love? Does love really mean showing your favour or sacrifice for a certain person that you hold dearly to yourself? Or is that just plain bias....or prejudice even?
